a stage more suitable for the dance of Shiva,
In a midnight mandala,
ill lit by moonlight
sad Titania waits for Oberon;
Oh, bronze lover.
Night Falling, tears falling,
word falling, photo falling,
Break through in dAy room...
...Flowers hope entire....
This is a deeply affecting, sensitively framed, lit and photographed still life. I love the green patina of the bronze where the back highlights are, and the cold steel blue bokeh backgrounding the figure. I like the melancholy of it, the details of the metal work in the focus plane, and the way the bottom of the picture fades off into dark emptiness. The soft golden highlights just beyond the focus plane indicate the presence of a source of light that could plausibly be full moonlight.
This is an enchanting picture.
